Yogurt Cheese: Aged approx 2-6 months. A classic cheese with a nice springy texture. A sweet aroma reminiscent of warm butter. Mild but with a full round flavor and a tangyness that makes it an ideal partner for cured meats or pickles. A good "mozzarella-like" cheese.

Scott's Comment: "I was not sure what to expect by the name of this cheese, but it really surprised me with it's full round flavor... and just enough zest. This is a wonderful snack cheese, I was really enjoying it with some fresh strawberries and oranges. It won't disappoint."

We are pleased to be able to offer this cheese from the great Amish folks at Alpine Heritage. If we were to produce cheese on our farm some day, we would want it to taste like these great hand made artisan cheeses.
